Frances C. Hoffman, age 80, a resident of Wheaton and formerly of Ann Arbor, MI, died Monday, March 20, at the Central Du Page Hospital in Winfield. She was born on May 28, 1925 to Charles and Nellie Crandall in Norfolk, VA.
Fran was a graduate of Mount Holyoke College (1947) where she was a major in Piano. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ann Arbor, a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood and was a involved with numerous volunteer activities.
She is survived by three children, Jane H. (Curt) Kimball of Wheaton, Anne (Richard) Reese of Midlothian, VA and Bob (Cathy) Hoffman of Warrenville, and six grandchildren, Lisa Kimball, Bill Brennan, Tommy and Elizabeth Reese, and Elizabeth and Matt Hoffman. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert in 1988.
Services will be held privately.
