Obituary
Frances J. Brown, age 91, a resident of Conyers, GA, and formerly of Elmhurst, died Wednesday, May 3, at the Remington House in Conyers. She was born July 17, 1914 in Midlothian, IL.
Before her husband died in 2004, Mr. and Mrs. Brown celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in June of that year. They lived in Elmhurst from 1942 until 1969. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Elmhurst. From 1969 until 2002 they lived in Houston, TX.
She is survived by her three children, Nancy (Edward) Wittekind of Winfield, Carol (James) Knapp of Dayton, OH, and Thomas V. (Cheryl) of Conyers, GA; 9 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor; her three sisters; two brothers; and her son-in-law.
A visitation will be held on Monday, May 8, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of a funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. Interment will follow at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst.
Memorials may be directed to Tallowood Baptist Church, 555 Tallowood, Houston, TX 77024.
