Fran Nagel, age 61, a resident of Plainfield, and a former longtime resident of Wheaton, died Sunday, April 8, at home. She was born March 16, 1946 in Chicago.
Fran earned an Associates in Arts degree from College of DuPage along with several certificates in web design and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa. In spring of 1993, she traveled to Europe for 6 months where she attended Salzburg College in Austria. She was a long time employee for her parents, Harold & Betty Warren, who owned NuWay Laundry Cleaners in Glen Ellyn, IL.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Will) Seleski of Plainfield; four grandchildren, Lauren, Christopher, Brandon, and Aaron; two sisters, Betty (David) Libby of North Brookfield, MA, and Barb (Jerry) Minnear of Tucson, AZ; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Betty Warren; her grandmother, Hazel Irving; and her Aunt, Sarah Cleave.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 14, at 10:00 A.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery.
