Frances Emily Baldwin, age 94, a longtime resident of Wheaton, died Monday, October 11 at home. She was born on September 17, 1916 in Brooklyn, NY.

Fran was married for 60 years to Kenneth "Lucky" Baldwin. They moved to Wheaton shortly after the end of WWII and resided at the same address for the rest of their lives. During the war, Fran served her country in the Navy in accordance with a long McMahon family tradition of naval service. Later she owned and operated Merle Norman Cosmetics in downtown Wheaton and in other locations for many years. She was also a longtime member of Wheaton Bible Church where she had been involved in various ministries.

She is survived by her sons, Tim and Tom Baldwin; her brother, Richard McMahon; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth "Lucky" Baldwin.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 14 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of a funeral service to be held at 11:00 a.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park, Northlake, IL.
