Obituary
Florence C. Nelson, nee Nyquist, age 92, a resident of Brighton Gardens in St. Charles and formerly of the Holmstad in Batavia, died Wednesday, October 13.
She was born on July 9, 1912 in Stromsburg, NE. Florence worked as a nurse and was an accomplished musician and pianist.
She is survived by one sister, Evelyn D'Herckens and nieces and nephews, Edla D'Herckens, Maurice D'Herckens, Karen Stewart and Robert Johnson.
Preceding her in death was her husband Rev. Robert Nelson in 1999.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 20, from 11:30 until noon at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, followed by graveside service at Wheaton Cemetery.
Memorials are appreciated to your favorite charity.
