Ferne L. Larson, age 87, a resident of Sun City in Huntley, IL and former1y of West Chicago and Wheaton IL, died in her home on Friday, November 7. She was born on April 12, 1927 in Lena, IL.

Mrs. Larson was a retired Registered Nurse having worked at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge and the Warrenville Clinic. She was a long time member of the Wheaton Evangelical Free Church and the Kupples Klass.

She is survived by two daughters, Lynnette (Robert) Tosby of the Village of Lakewood, IL, and Patrice (Cotton) Beal of Louisville, KY; seven grandchildren, Chad, Brent and Tracy Busse, and Jessica Korhonen (nee Beal), Ian, Caleb, and Justin Beal; two brothers, Arnold and Will Gassman; one sister, Lois Stouffer (nee Gassman); and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert J. Lainson; and her second husband, Craig O. Larson; one brother, Edgar Gassman; and one sister, Pauline Gassman.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 15th at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m. with Terry Perciante officiating and Burt Kettinger leading worship.
