Fern P. Olin, age 96, a resident of Wheaton, IL, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025.  She was born October 15, 1928 in Chicago to Herman & Esther Nusser.

Fern was a long time resident of Duluth, MN, and member for many years of 1st Lutheran Church.  She was a career elementary school teacher along with her husband Robert, who taught high school.  Fern was an avid weaver and enjoyed traveling, camping, and skiing.

Fern was proceeded in death by her husband, Robert, and survived by her sister, Miriam Gronlund of Scottsdale, AZ, as well as three nieces, Julie Tonnemacher, Shelley Chambers, and Sherri Thorne, and nephew Steven Marshall.

A private family gathering will be held in Hermantown, MN at Bethany Cemetery, at a later date.
