Felix H. Bersabe, age 67, a resident of Glendale Heights, died Thursday, August 31, at Glen Oaks Hospital. He was born January 16, 1939 in the Philippines.

While living in the Philippines he owned a large farm with cattle, pigs, horses, and chickens. He also grew rice and fruits and vegetables. He made charcoal for cooking. He sold all of these products at the local market. He also owned a large Jeep which he used to transport people to various destinations locally. He worked for the largest electric company in the Philippines, PLDT. He travelled to Saudi Arabia for two years where he worked for a shipping company, removing products from boats at the port.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carmelita; seven children, Virgie (Miguel) Gonzalez of Glendale Heights, Nelia (Noel) Campos of the Philippines, Eva (John) Acunia of the Philippines, Mylene (Boots) Oquindo of the Philippines, Jason Bersabe of the Philippines, Junior Bersabe of the Philippines, and Jack Bersabe of the Philippines; seven grandchildren, Kimberly and Angelica Gonzalez, Michelle, Paulo, and Angel Campos, Evangienhel Acunia, and Leslie Oquindo; six brothers and sisters, Melencio Bersabe, Christina Bersabe, Gloria Bersabe, and Ida Bersabe.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arjano and Romaldo Bersabe; and two brothers, Pedro Bersabe, and Sergio Bersabe.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 2, from 2-9 P.M., and again on Sunday, September 3, also from 2-9 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. Interment is private.
