Obituary

Federico Granados-Sanchez, a resident of Carol Stream, IL, was born on December 3, 1964, in Sahuayo, Michoacán. With deep sadness and love in our hearts, we say goodbye to a man of joyful spirit, a devoted follower of El Patrón Santiago, and someone who cherished a simple and authentic life.

A true cattleman at heart, Federico found happiness among animals—especially his bulls he held in such high regard. His love for the countryside of Sahuayo was a deep part of his soul. He always had a story to tell—tales from his youth filled with adventure, humor, and the wisdom that only time can bring.
Federico was a hardworking man who loved cooking, animals, and most of all, spending time with his family. His cheerful, funny, and outgoing personality made him unforgettable. His wit could make us laugh to the core, and his love for dancing and enthusiasm for life left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cecilia Granados-Aguilera; his children, Fernando, Patricia, Nayeli, and Sandy; and his grandchildren, Jacelyn, Brandon, Santi, Mateo, and Julian. He is also survived by his mother, Margarita Sanchez, and many brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
Federico was preceded in death by his father, Jesus Granados
