Fannie "Lois" Roberts, 75, of Demotte, Indiana, died Monday, July 9, 2012 in Chicago, Illinois. She was born in Freeburn, Kentucky March 3, 1937, the daughter of the late Malcolm and Bessie Johnson Keene.

She was a devoted Christian, beloved wife and mother.  Her husband William "Willie" Roberts died in 1995.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William "Willie" Roberts; one brother, Willis Keene; three sisters, Ruth Daugherty, Vivian (McDonald) Norman and Bernese (Walter) Smith.

Her survivors include one son, Timothy (Renee) Roberts of Orland Park, Illinois; two beloved grandsons, Nathan Roberts and Elijah Roberts; two brothers, Franklin (Janice) Keene  of Phelps, KY and Billy (Georgia) Keene of Bolingbrook, IL; and two sisters, Glenys (Paul) Jackson of Ashland, KY and Yvonne (Roger) Freeman of Demotte, IN.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 12 at R S Jones & Son Funeral Home. 37035 State Highway 194 E, Phelps, KY 41553. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home the following day, July 13 at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow the service at Mountain View Memory Gardens 119 N. Mountain View Drive Huddy KY 41535.
