Deeply Loved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother Faith Darlene (Whitney) Togami went to be with her Lord on January 15, 2012.
Married to Paul Togami on June, 7, 1958, she is deeply missed by him and their children: Kay (Norm) Brucer of Crete, Illinois, Kevin (Sheryl) Togami of Warrenville, Illinois, Kai (Wendy) Togami of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Kory (Josie) Togami of Wheaton, Illinois, Karen (Mark) Stankus of West Chicago, Illinois, and Kreg (Laura) Togami of Sullivans Island, South Carolina.

Faith was born on November 30, 1930 to Esther Marie Caroline (nee Zachert) and Albert Wayne Whitney who preceded her in death. Her brothers are Albert (Betty) Whitney of Muscatine, Iowa and Raymond (Geraldine) Whitney (preceded her in death).
Raised in Buffalo Prairie, Illinois she graduated from Rock Island High School in Rock Island, Illinois. She attended and graduated from Business School in Davenport, Iowa. She worked as a receptionist for International Harvester in East Moline, Illinois, and White Sands Missile Range in Las Cruces, New Mexico where she was part of the Nike Zeus program. She also worked in various occupations in the Quad Cities and Wheaton area. In Wheaton she worked for Wheaton Medical Clinic and Wheaton Orthopedics/Sports Med.
Her main focus, with her husband, was loving their children and grandchildren. She was very actively involved in their lives as mother, coach, counselor and best friend. She was second mom to the friends of her children and never met someone who didn't become a friend. There are no words to express the hole that her death leaves in our lives. She is mourned by many, but her character and love continue on in her family and the lives of those she touched.
