Obituary
Evelyn Ruth Bicanek, nee Schlamann, age 82, a resident of Wheaton, formerly of Brookfield, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, at the Wynscape Healthcare Center in Wheaton. She was born on September 28, 1922 in Brookfield to Frederick and Martha Schlamann.
Her survivors include a sister, Helen Soldwisch of Brookfield, nephews, Kenneth Utterback and Steven Utterback, Ted Schlamann, Jim Schlamann, Arthur Schlaman, Ron Schlamann, Jerry Schlamann, William Schlamann Jr., Eugene Demille, Don Demille and Alan Soldwisch; nieces, Kathleen Keppler, Diana Schlaman, Barbara Joyce Schlamann, Sylvia Schlamann, Patsy Schlamann, and Judith Balletto.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Fred Schlamann, Agnes Demille, Eric Schlamann, Esther Utterback, William Schlamann, Richard Schlamann, and Arthur Schlaman.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 5, from 3 until 7 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton.
Services will take place on Monday, 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with burial following at Clarendon Hills Cemetery.
