Evelyn E. Benson, 98, a resident of Windsor Park Manor in Carol Stream since 1989, beloved wife of the late Herbert, preceded in death in 1990; loving aunt of Lester Benson of Buffalo Grove; and cousin of many. Born Nov. 22, 1907 in Wheaton, she died Sat., Jan. 14, at home. She played the organ at the old Wheaton Theatre in the silent film era. She also assisted the organist at First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton where she was a long time member. Visitation, Thur., Jan. 19, from 10 AM until the time of a service at 11 AM at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. Interment, Wheaton Cemetery.
