Eunice Dawn Guldbeck, 78, a resident of Dupage County, died Monday, October 8th, 2012 at Central Dupage Hospital in Winfield, IL. She was born July 31st, 1934 in Johnson City, NY.
Mrs. Guldbeck worked for General Electric Co. as well as Traveler's Relocation, buying and selling properties for relocated employees. She was a member of Wheaton Bible Church where she helped to serve countless meals to families who were grieving lost ones. She also was a key worker with Samaritans Purse, helping children around the world experience Christ's love at Christmastime. In addition, Eunice continued growing her intellect through active participation in a history club, reading countless books and sharing her thoughts with others. She also earned a Master's degree and taught school, and even held the position of principal while living in California.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest H. Guldbeck; her son, Timothy Livingston; her adopted son, Charlie Livingston; her step-son, Per Guldbeck; her step-daughters, Mille and Karin Guldbeck; her grandchildren, Ashley Gibson, Amanda Jacoby, Christen Guldbeck, Cassandra Guldbeck, and Alex Guldbeck; and her sisters, Sharon Strock and Sandra Gilbert.
A visitation will be held Friday, October 12, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of a memorial service to be held at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Wheaton Bible Church, 27W500 North Ave., in West Chicago, IL, with Rev. Richard Scott officiating. Interment will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
