Ethel L. Riha of Colony Park in Carol Stream Prayers for Ethel L. Riha, 89, formerly of Villa Park, will be said at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church on Cole St. east of Main in Wheaton. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Gardens West, Oakbrook Terrace. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27, at the funeral home.

Born Jan. 3, 1918, on a farm in Kankakee, she died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2007, at Central DuPage Hospital.

Ethel was a longtime member of the Moose Lodge 1553 in Elmhurst. She was an avid Cubs and Bears fan and enjoyed watching sports in general. She volunteered at Colony Park.

She is survived by her sons, Bob (Peggy) Riha of Diamond Springs, Calif., Ron (Deborah) Riha of Lombard and Don (Debra) Riha of Villa Park; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, George Riha; her husband, George Riha; and her brother, Emmett Rotermund.
