Esther E. Kinnaman, age 96, a longtime resident of Wheaton, IL, died Friday, July 2, 2010 at Lexington Healthcare Center in Bloomingdale, IL. She was born November 26, 1913 in Roselle, IL.
Esther was a longtime member of St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton, IL where she was active in the JOY Group and the Quilters group. She was the hostess for many years at Glen Oak Country Club in Glen Ellyn, IL.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Marvin) Roberts of Broken Arrow, OK, and her son, Charles (Victoria) Kinnaman of Roselle, IL; two grandchildren, Keith (Pam) Roberts, and Julie (Jeff) Byers; two great-grandchildren, Sydney and Mason Byers; and her sister, Lillian Bornack.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Walt Kinnaman; her brother, Erwin Meyer; and her sisters, Edna Meyer, Mildred Hull, and Loretta Bunge.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 from 4-8 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 8, at 10:00 A.M. at St. John Lutheran Church, 125 E. Seminary Ave., Wheaton, IL 60187. Interment will be private at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst, IL.
