Esther K. Anim-Addo

Esther K. Anim-Addo, 83 years lived, and a resident of Carol Stream in Illinois, passed away on Tuesday evening, July 7, 2026. She was born on September 11, 1942 in Ghana on the continent of Africa.

After moving to the United States, she worked as a registered nurse for over 40 years at various facilities including Central DuPage Hospital and the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office. She volunteered her time to sing in the church and help with children’s ministries. She supported The Navigators worldwide Christian ministry and homeless children’s shelters including Father Flanagan’s Boys Town. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and reading biographies. She loved Jesus.

She is survived by Mr. George Anim-Addo, her husband of 58 years; her two sons David & Kwame; her siblings Emmanuel (Rita) Tetteh & Solomon (Valerie) Duamroh; and numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Rose Tetteh.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home in Carol Stream, 565 Randy Road, Carol Stream, IL 60188. A funeral service will be held at Wheaton Bible Church, 27W500 North Ave, West Chicago, IL 60185 on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.
