Ernestine Blanchard, age 85, a resident of Countryside Care Center, Aurora, IL and formerly of Lansing, MI and Grand Rapids, Mi died peacefully, Sunday August 8, 2010. She was born on March1, 1925 in Flint, Michigan to Ernest L. Robinson and Delia (LaFrance) Robinson.

She worked for the Grand Rapids Michigan Public School system for 24 years until her retirement in 1985. Ernestine will be remembered as a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and wife. We were blessed to be a part of her life and will miss her everyday.

Ernestine is survived by her daughter Lee Raezler of Wheaton son in law Don Raezler grandchildren Sarah Raezler of Washington DC and Aaron Raezler of San Diego, CA USMC Recruit Depot. Also survived by son Robert Blanchard and daughter in law Jodi Blanchard of East Grand Rapids, Mi grandchildren Spencer Blanchard, Mackenzie Blanchard, Kendall Blanchard and Madison Blanchard. Also survived by brother Russell Robinson of Helena, MT and sister in law Mary E. Robinson also of Helena, MT. She has 8 nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Richard L. Blanchard (death April 28, 1990).

Services and interment will be held privately.
