Obituary

Enoch B. Miamen, 55, was born in Gbapa, Liberia. He passed away on October 2, 2026, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer. Having defied the odds in 2023, he gave his family three more years of joy.

Enoch was a proud Judson University graduate. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business and Communications, then went on to earn his MBA in Finance and Financial Management Services. He was known for his entrepreneurial spirit and his ability to connect with people. His greatest pride and joy were his children, who were the love of his life.

Faith was the foundation of his life. In his twenties he served as a missionary with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), and he treasured time in God’s Word to the end. He was a member of Fullness of Christ Church.

Enoch played soccer his whole life, even at the semi-pro level, and he never lost his love of the game. He cheered for the Chicago Bears, and for any team his son Josiah played on. He loved golf, good music, and travel. Most of all he loved being with the people he held dear.

He was a father, a son, a brother, and a friend, and he will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his children, Jaiden, Josiah, Jeremiah, and Journie; his grandson, Lennox; his father, Dr. Amos B. Miamen; and his siblings, Kou Luo, Eunice (Ifeanyi) Nwalieji, and Cornelius Miamen. Many other relatives and friends also survive him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary N. Miamen.
