Englesina Milani, 98, a resident of Melrose Park for over 80 years, died in Port St. Lucie, Florida on Wednesday, April 2. She was born on September 29, 1909 near Reading, Pennsylvania.
She was a charter member of Christian Assembly Church in Melrose Park, where she served as a deaconess, choir member, Sunday school teacher, home bible study and prayer leader, and was a prayer warrier.
She is survived by three daughters, Caroline (Edward) Loss, Nancy (the late Nick) Fabiani, and Gloria (Oscar) Lyko, 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Preceding her in death were her husbands Secundo Maccaroni in 1940 and Amondeo Milani in 1966, her children, Mary M. Markese and John Milani
Visitation will be held on Tues., April 8, from 4 to 9 p.m. at New Life Community Church, 2001 W. Division St., Melrose Park, IL 60160, where a funeral service will be held Wed. at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow at Mt. Emblem Cemetery.
