Emma "Jane" Vojta, age 79, a resident of Lombard, IL, and formerly a longtime resident of Wheaton, IL, died Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL. She was born December 18, 1930 in Lueders, TX.

Jane graduated from Northern Illinois University. She was a member of the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Guild for many years. She is a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton. She also volunteered as a Sheriff's Deputy in DuPage County for the last several years. She worked with the West Suburban Bank for many years.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia (Richard) Babcock of St. Germain, WI, and Becky (Charlie) Tuzik of Huntley, IL; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; her sister, Ann (Arnold) Anderson of Stafford, VA; nieces and nephews; and her beloved companion, Larry Gage and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Vojta; her sister, Betty Armstrong; and her parents, William and Minnie Margaret Winkles.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 6, from 11:30 A.M. until the time of a funeral service at 1:00 P.M. to be held at First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton, 715 N. Carlton Ave., Wheaton, IL 60187. Interment will be private.
