Emily (Em) Breckman passed away peacefully, surrounded by family June 19, 2026. She was eight days shy of her 100th birthday celebration.

Emily was grateful and joyful for many things in life; her family, friends, faith, good health, travel, love of nature (her gardens, birds, backyard) and fun! She volunteered countless hours and over 35 years at the DuPage Convalescent Center along with her service at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Emily was a lifelong resident of Wheaton Illinois where she lived, married, raised a family and enjoyed life.

Emily loved a good laugh, good company, good food and drink, playing games, walking the beach and cherished her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren.

Proceeded in death were Emily’s parents, Frank and Emilie Roth and her husband Robert (Bob) Breckman.

Emily is survived by daughters: Barbara Farley (husband Dave) of Carol Stream, Mary Wojick (husband Paul) of Tabernash, CO. She was blessed with five grandchildren; Elise Fleming (husband Derek), Jonathan Farley (partner Hannah), Matthew Wojick (wife Carrie), Ben Farley, Chris Farley (wife Katie). She also was a Great Grandma (GG) to Holden and Avery Fleming, and to Henry and Emily Wojick.

Emily’s laugh, wisdom, and kindness will be missed by all every day.
