Elsie A. Rydstrom, 97, of the DuPage Convalescent Center in Wheaton, beloved wife of her first husband, the late Sven Johnson, and her second husband of 37 years, John; dear mother of Roger (Barbara), and Lillian Potter; proud grandmother of Gary and Beth, and Leigh and Ryan; great-grandmother of Ashley and Lauren; a sister, Elin Olsson of Malmo, Sweden; and aunt and friend of many. Born Oct. 23, 1907, Elsie came to America as a young woman in 1929. She cherished her family and was always proud of her homeland, Sweden. Memorial service, Fri., Feb. 18, at 1 P.M. at DuPage Convalescent Center, 400 N. County Farm Rd., Wheaton, IL 60187. Interment, private.
