Elsie E. Krill, age 94, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Friday, June 9, 2017, at Westbridge Assisted Living. She was born July 9, 1922 in Roselle Park, NJ.
She was a member of Lee Street Memorial Baptist Church for 50 years and also served in the church's soup kitchen ministry. During her 20 years as a volunteer at St. Agnes Hospital, Elsie served in many areas including the Pre-Natal department, Emergency Room and the Chemotherapy department. Elsie was awarded a 50 year membership certificate from the Eastern Star, Grand Chapter of Maryland.
Elsie is survived by her daughters, Diana G. Lokey of Catonsville, MD, and Wanda Krill of Glen Ellyn, IL; two granddaughters, Dawn M. Coleman and Karen L. Dutton; three great-grandchildren, Dillon F. Mayer, Erin R. Coleman and Ava L. Dutton; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George O. Krill; her brothers and sisters, Karl, Gertrude, Rudolph, Ruth, and Emil.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. Cremation services will be held in private in Illinois. Interment will be held at Lorraine Park Cemetery and Mausoleum in Baltimore, MD on July 14, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.
