Eloise M. Holderman, age 89, a resident of Carol Stream, IL, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 18th. She was born on May, 15, 1925 in Goshen, IN to Russell and Marice Stump.

Eloise graduated high school in Goshen. She married Merl F. Holderman, her high school sweetheart on June 9, 1946. In the late 1950's, they moved their family to Wheaton, IL. In 1988 they moved to Michigan and wintered in Florida, where they eventually moved permanently. Recently they returned to live in IL.

She was a member of the Wheaton Evangelical Free Church .

She is survived by three children, Sherrill (John) Deck of Roseburg, OR, Susan (Allen, Jr.) Edwards of Carol Stream, IL, Stephen (Evelyn) Holderman of Chaska, MN; ten grandchildren, John (Nicole) Deck, Jeni Deck, Jodi Deck, Alicia Myrick, Michael (Silvia) Edwards, Rachael (Nate) Hall, Gregg Holderman, Julie Holderman, Cecily Holderman, and Darcy Holderman; and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and two brothers.

A visitation will be held Sunday, November 23, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton where a funeral will be held on Monday, November 24, at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.
