Obituary
Eloise Jane Helwig, age 92, a resident of Glen Ellyn, died Thursday, July 20, at Glen Oaks Hospital in Glendale Heights. She was born May 5, 1914 in St. Louis, MO.
Mrs. Helwig was a member of the Women's Group at the Austin Congregational Church. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Gould Helwig; her daughter, Marilyn Rae Helwig (John) King; eight grandchildren, Matthew, Todd and Scott Helwig, and Christopher (Kathy), Kelly, Andrew, Kathryn, and Karilyn King. A great-grandchild is due in early 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter C. Helwig in 1980; two brothers, Charles Alan Gould, and S. Quentin Gould; her sister, Helen Gould Phelen; and her sister-in-law, Helen Gould.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 26, from 5-9 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton where a service will be held on Thursday, at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Oakridge Cemetery in Hillside.
Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimers' Association, 225 N Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60601; or to the American Cancer Society, 1801 S. Meyers Rd., Ste. #100, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181.
