Elma L. Ayers, nee Griffith, age 95, a resident of Carol Stream, Illinois, passed away December 3, 2019.

She is survived by her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Ayers (2015) and her first husband Clarence Kiersten (1995). Also preceded in death by her brother Aren Griffith; her sisters Norma Valentine & Daphne Carter; and her parents Marvin & Sylva Griffith of Tamaroa, Illinois

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Wheaton (now known as Highpoint Church) and formerly a long-time member of Judson Baptist Church in Oak Park. Elma resided at Windsor Park Manor in Carol Stream and volunteered at the Evangelical Child and Family Agency in Wheaton.

A visitation will be held Friday, December 6, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, Illinois 60187 where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m.Interment will be at Wheaton Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the Highpoint Church, 1310 N Main St, Wheaton, IL 60187.
