Elizabeth Eileen "Betty" Scott, age 86, of Montgomery, IL, died on November 21, 2006 at the Tillers Health Care Residence in Oswego, IL.
She was born on May 21, 1920 in Amboy, IL, to Ruth and Walter D. Scott. She graduated from Amboy High School. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Education, as well as a Master's Degree from Illinois State University. she was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Society. She taught English for 26 1/2 years at Glenbard South High School in Glen Ellyn, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 27 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton. Burial will be at Prairie Repose Cemetery in Amboy, IL on Tuesday, November 28 at 1:30 P.M.
Memorials may be directed to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 500 N. Dearborn St., Suite 305, Chicago, IL 60610.
