Elizabeth Marie Loosli, age 32, a resident of Carol Stream, passed away on Wednesday, June 29. She was born October 15, 1983 in Winfield, to George and Susan Brouwer.

Liz grew up in Winfield and attended Winfield Elementary and Winfield Middle School. She graduated from West Chicago High School in 2002. In 2007, she earned her Bachelor's Degree from Western IL University in Teaching. She married her high school sweetheart, Errik Loosli, on February 9, 2008. They have lived in Carol Stream where she taught pre-school at Evergreen Elementary School.

She had a gift for decorating and crafts. She enjoyed sports, especially playing softball and watching the Cubs, Hawks and Bears.

She is survived by her husband, Errik Loosli, her daughter, Mira Elizabeth Loosli, her parents, George and Susan Brouwer, two siblings, George Brouwer IV and Alexandra Brouwer, paternal grandparents, George and Grace Brouwer of Elmhurst and maternal grandparents, Virgil and Donna Turner of Carol Stream, and her devoted dog, Wrigley. She is also survived by her in-laws, Wendie (Brian) Loosli-Gudeman and Greg (Anna) Loosli, brother-in-law, Bryan Loosli and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 7, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, July 8, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Winfield.
