Elizabeth Anne Eberhart, age 83, a longtime resident of Wheaton, IL, died peacefully at home on Monday, June, 5, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born July 7, 1939 in Cedar Grove, West Virginia to Oliver Ellsworth and Loretta Palmer.

Anne spent her childhood in Kanawha Valley, West Virginia. She graduated from high school in Montgomery and then from West Virginia University. She and her adoring husband were married in 1961 and in 1977 she and her family moved to Wheaton. For many years she was an active member of the Wheaton Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She loved to travel and share her experiences with others. Family was important to her, and she always made time for her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and always had a meal ready when the family arrived, often including one of her delicious homemade pies. Anne enjoyed sewing, quilting, and crocheting. She left a lasting memory in her lovingly crafted blankets.

Anne is survived by her two children, Jane (the late Thomas) Walsh of Charlotte, NC, James (Mary Ann) Eberhart of Oswego, IL, and nine grandchildren, Adam T. Walsh, Christopher J. Walsh, Jake P. Eberhart, Grace K. Walsh, Emily K. Eberhart, James W. Eberhart, Will M. Eberhart, Joseph K. Walsh, Nora E. Walsh and sister, Mary Christy. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at Trinity Episcopal Church Chapel, 130 N. West Street, Wheaton, IL 60187 at 12:30pm, where a funeral service will follow at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery in Wheaton, Illinois.
