Elizabeth A. (Betty) Taylor, age 88, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at her home. She was born in Chicago, IL on November 13, 1932, to John and Lillian McGahey.

Betty retired from many years of service at the College of DuPage, Glen Ellyn, IL, to spend time with her husband of 65 years, Chuck.

Betty was a faithful Christian, cheerful and caring to the very end. Her family was her joy in life. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Patrick Taylor, a daughter, Nancy Parla, her parents, her brother, Robert McGahey, son-in-law, George Juarez, and many other loved ones.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Juarez-Broyles (Keith Broyles) of Wheaton, brother, John McGahey, Las Vegas, NV, her close cousin, Nancy Olsen, Elk Grove Village, IL, her son-in-law, Tony (Mary Sue), Wheaton, IL, her daughter-in-law, Gail Taylor, Warrenville, IL; Grandchildren: Tracy (Jason), Nick, Kim, Danny (Megan), Elenamarie, Kyle, Megan, Gabi; Great-Grandchildren: Hunter, Autumn, Austin and many other loved ones.
