Elizabeth "Liz" Adele Bauer, age 38, a resident of Chicago and formerly of Glenview, died suddenly after a brief illness on Wednesday, September 3 at Weiss Hospital in Chicago. She was born on April 11, 1970 in Chicago to Art and Doris Bauer.
Liz graduated from Glenbrook South High School in 1988. She attended college in Germany, England, Austria and France. She also attended North Park College and Columbia College in Chicago, where her mentor was John White. She graduated from North Eastern IL University with a degree in art. Her photography business was called "Liz Bauer Photography."
Liz is survived by her parents, Arthur and Doris Bauer of Williams Bay, WI, formerly of Glenview, two brothers, Carl (Beth) Bauer and Tim Bauer, two nieces, Maty and Jayne and two foster brothers, Jerry Sanders and Leon Smith. She is also survived by many aunts and uncles and cousins.
A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, September 7 from 2 until 3 P.M. at Glenview Evangelical Free Church, 2 Shermer Rd. (at Golf) Glenview, IL 60025, where a service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
