Elaine D. Hanzelin, age 84, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Friday, September 17, 2010 at Wynscape Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wheaton, IL. She was born October 8, 1925 in Chicago, IL.
Elaine was an Avon Representative in Elmhurst, and Wheaton, IL for 46 years. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton, where among other things she was involved in the Afternoon Women's Circle, and the JOY Group. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Edward; two children, Gail (Russell) Novosad of Wheaton, and Glenn (Amy) Hanzelin of Davenport, IA; three grandchildren, Nicholas, Katie, and Eddie; and many dear cousins and friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 21, from 3-8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 22, at 11:00 A.M. with a visitation to precede at 10 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, 125 E. Seminary Ave., Wheaton, IL 60187. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the church.
