Elaine Anderson Fellowes, age 92, a resident of Wheaton for 63 years, died Monday, October 7, 2013. She was born on August 21, 1921 to Oscar and Ellen Anderson in the Beverly neighborhood in Chicago.

Elaine was a graduate of Morgan Park High School and Northwestern University. In August of 1942, she married John Fellowes. They were married for nearly 65 years when he died in 2007.

Throughout her life she devoted herself to her family and her community. She was a member of the Wheaton Garden Club, the First Presbyterian Church, and the Chicago Golf Club. She was a director of Fellowes, Inc. for over forty years. Philanthropic interests included Lindenwood College, Northwestern University, Knox College, Mayo's Clinic, and Outreach Community Ministries.

She is survived by her three children, Peter (Jeanne) Fellowes of Paris, France, James (Deby) Fellowes of Wheaton, and Mary (Stefan Sieveking) Fellowes of Diessenhofen, Switzerland, ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and her sister Phyllis Alcock, Indian Head Park, IL.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 10, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 11, at 11:00 A.M. at First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton. Interment will be held privately at Wheaton Cemetery.
