Obituary
Edward D. Mullinger, age 64, a resident of Danville and formerly of Warrenville, and also of Glen Ellyn, died suddenly Wednesday, December 8, at Provena Medical Center in Danville. He was born November 7, 1940 in Cincinatti, OH to Violet and Ed Mullinger.
Ed married Judie Stall on August 18, 1962. He graduated with a degree in accounting from the University of Cincinnati in June 1964. He worked as a CPA until retiring in 1994 to enjoy life and his grandchildren. During this time he also worked as a manager at Menards in Glen Ellyn and then in Danville. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed baseball, football, Nascar and bowling.
He is survived by his wife, Judie; two sons, Edward K. (Susan) of Wheaton, and David S. (Stacy) of Ft. Wayne, IN; and two daughters, Sandy (Patrick) Belongia of Carol Stream, and Lori (Jim) Scalzo of Minooka, IL; 11 grandchildren; and nine brothers and sisters.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 10, from 3-9 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery.
A memorial service in Danville will be held at a later date.
Memorial gifts may be directed to the American Heart Association, 208 S. LaSalle St., Suite 900, Chicago, IL 60604-1197.
