Edward Uno Claeson's Obituary
Edward Uno Claeson, age 80, a resident of The Holmstad in Batavia, IL, died Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. He was born October 23, 1930 in Omaha, NE.
Mr. Claeson was a retired mechanical engineer and was a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; his son, David (Susan) Claeson; his daughter, Sandy (Bill) Skowera; his grandchildren, Jon, Chris, and Jill Skowera, and Claes and Michael Claeson.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Maggie Gibson; and his parents, Josef U. and Signe M. Claeson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at The Holmstad, 700 W. Fabyan Parkway, Batavia, IL 60510 with Rev. Mark Anderson officiating.
