Edna G. Winchell's Obituary
Edna G. Winchell, age 86, a resident of Windsor Park in Carol Stream, died Sunday, December 22 at Johnson Health Care Center at Windsor Park. She was born on August 2, 1927 in Valley Stream, NY.
On June 10, 1950 she married William S. Winchell in Woburn, MA. Together they served as missionaries in South Korea with TEAM. They also served in Taiwan and in Aruba, Dutch Caribbean. She was a longtime member of the Wheaton Evangelical Free Church.
Edna is survived by her daughter, Karen (Phil) DuBert of Africa, two sons Richard (Jan) Winchell of Rochester, NY, and Allan (Brenda) Winchell of Pottsville, AR, 7 grandchildren, Chad, Heather, Todd, Tyler, Andy, Luke, and Isabel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William.
A memorial service will be held in the spring.
A private interment will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Joliet.
