Edna H. Gross, age 90, a resident of Wheaton, IL, and formerly of Chicago, IL, died Saturday, August 28, 2010, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. She was born June 16, 1920 in Chicago, IL.
Edna grew up attending Moody Church in Chicago, and raised her family at Northwest Baptist Church. In her later years she attended South Park Church in Park Ridge, IL, and then later College Church in Wheaton. She loved her family and friends. She worked as a legal secretary for many years ending her career at WTTW in Chicago.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, DeWitt; her two children, Nancy (Breck) Hensley of Wheaton, IL, and Clint (Valerie) Gross of Wheaton, IL; six grandchildren, Katherine (Dan) Hahn, Christopher Hensley, and Caroline Hensley; Andrew, CJ, and Audrey Gross; her sister, Ruth (Bob) Erickson; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Monday, August 30, 2010, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. A Committal service and interment will be held on Tuesday, August 31, at 11:00 a.m. at Wheaton Cemetery.
