Edith A. Wickliff, a resident of Wheaton, IL, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday April 16th, 2016, in her 53rd year. She was born October 29, 1962 in Sandwich, IL to Berton and Dorinda Bergstrand.

Edith grew up in Hinckley, IL and graduated from the University of Illinois. She worked for 8 years as a computer engineer before devoting herself to raising her children. She was an avid reader and loved hiking, sewing and board games. She was very involved in all of her children's activities including scouting. A cancer diagnosis in 2007 barely slowed her down. She was an inspiration.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, David; three children, Nathaniel, Carmina, and Sophie Wickliff; her sister, Wendy (Patrick) Buckley of Belvidere, IL; her brother-in-law, Kevin Hutcheson; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Tracy Hutcheson.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. Interment will be private.
