Edith M. Annestedt's Obituary
Edith M. Annestedt, age 86, died at Wynscape Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wheaton on Saturday, June 9, 2007. She was born March 25, 1921 to Walter and Amy Thorman.
She was raised and lived in Chicago. She worked for Stewart Warner in Chicago and retired after 40+ years of service. Stanley and Edith were active volunteers with the Elk Grove Village VFW Post #9284. She was a Reader in the Christian Science Church of Chicago.
Edith is survived by a niece Nancy (Richard) Seloover, and a nephew George (Mary Ann) McBeath; a great niece Pam(Jeff) Schettek, and a great-great nephew Tyler and great-great niece Amy.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1979 and her parents.
A visitation was held on Wednesday, June 13, from 10:30 A.M. until time of the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Interment was at Mount Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a favorite charity of the donor would be appreciated.
