Obituary

Edgar "Ed" Kincaid, age 87, a resident of the Arrowhead neighborhood of Wheaton for almost 50 years, died Thursday, November 5, 2015, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Illinois. He was born on May 28, 1928 in Follansbee, West Virginia to John and Ursala Kincaid.

Immediately after graduating from high school, Ed enlisted in the U.S. Navy. After his service he graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelors Degree in Commerce. He worked for Montgomery Wards where he met Rosemary Bigler. They were married on July 2, 1958. After he retired from Wards, he enjoyed working in several different jobs.

As a young man he enjoyed playing golf. He passion was his family and he enjoyed working in his yard.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Kincaid, two children, Kim (Bill) Kaminski of Hanover Park, John "Jack" Kincaid of Dayton, IN, two grandchildren, Kevin (Brittany) Kaminski and Tara Kaminski, three great-grandchildren, Nathan, Justin and Dylan, and one brother, Howard (Doris) Kincaid. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Ida Jean Druzik and one brother, Jack Kincaid.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 9, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 10, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery.
