Obituary
Charles Edward "Ed" Foster, age 90, a long time resident of Wheaton, died Tuesday, December 12, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. He was born January 25, 1916 in Warsaw, IL.
In 1934, Ed began a 34 year career with Sears and Roebuck. He began by sweeping the floors. When he retired in 1968 he was the National Sales Manager for Division One - Furniture and Floor Covering. He attended Wheaton Bible Church for many years.
He is survived by his two sons, Albert (Barbara) of Sevierville, TN, and Steven (Roberta) of Hoffman Estates; and five grandsons of Ron (Jodi) Hodel and Bob Hodel, Nathan, Matthew and Nicholas Foster.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Ruth.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 15, from 5-8 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, where a service will be held on Saturday, at 11:00 A.M. Interment is private at Wataga Cemetery in Wataga, IL.
