Obituary
Earl G. Shire, age 76, a resident of Glen Ellyn, died Wednesday, January 12, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. He was born October 24, 1928 in Downers Grove.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joanne; his two sons, Gerry (Wendy) of Wheaton, and Randy (Carol) of Orland Park; three granddaughters, Amanda, Emily, and Allison; four brothers, Ralph (Edith), Don (Donna), Howard (Claudia), Larry (Sue); three sisters, Catherine Dyntera, Eunice Manley, Marion Kirkland; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 15, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of a funeral service at 12:00 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. Interment will be private at Clarendon Hills Cemetery in Darien.
