Earl R. Diener's Obituary
Earl R. Diener, age 88, a resident of Glen Ellyn, IL and formerly of Sun City Center, FL, died Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Central DuPage Hospital IN Winfield, IL. He was born July 26, 1922 in Brooklyn, NY.
Mr. Diener served in the Marine Corps for three years during World War II in Guam and Guadalcanal. While living in Sun City Center, FL, he volunteered with the Medical Emergency Squad and among other things, drove an ambulance while volunteering. He was always helping people when he could.
Earl is survived by his wife of 63 years, Minerva; his son, Ronald (Cheryl) of Wheaton, IL; two grandsons, Barry (Stacy), and Justin; and two great-grandchildren, Gabrielle, and Avery.
Services and interment are private at Forest Home Cemetery in Forest Park, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 1801 S. Meyers Rd., Ste. #100, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181.
