Draven Michael Propst, age 16, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died December 6, 2023, at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois.  He was born August 14, 2007, in Flint, Michigan.

Despite the physical limitations Draven faced, he found joy in simple pleasures – the warmth of a smile, the gentle touch of a loved one, and the comforting embrace of family.

He enjoyed baseball, football, little bite chocolate chip muffins, green beans, dance parties with mom, hanging out with Buddy, Lady, Max & Tallulah and being around family and friends.

Draven is survived by his devoted parents, Jamie and James Mayfield, loving brothers Erik and Jonathan, and a circle of family and friends who cherished him throughout his remarkable journey.

A memorial service to celebrate Draven's life will be held on Friday, December 15th 4 to 8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Wheaton with a service at 7:30 p.m. We will all come together to remember and honor the life of a remarkable boy who, despite facing immense challenges, left an enduring legacy of love, strength, and courage.
