Douglas Earl Peterson passed away February 18, 2010 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. He was born in Chicago, IL on April 8, 1948 to Donald and Dorothea (Winnie) Peterson.

In 1955 he moved to Lombard, IL. with his parents before moving to Deicke Home in Lombard in 1985. Doug moved to Johnson Health Care Center at Windsor Park in Carol Stream, IL. in 2003.

Doug is survived by his cousin, Ken (Mary) Hill of Windsor Park; his step-sister Bonnie (Steve) Oliver of Elmhurst, IL, and their daughter Linnea of Los Angeles, CA; and many caring friends including Jean Peterson, and Dave Lundberg and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Dorothea (Winnie) Peterson.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 26, 2010 from 6-8:30 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Windsor Park, 124 Windsor Park Dr., in Carol Stream. Interment will be private at Fairview Memorial Park in Northlake, IL.
