Obituary

Dorothy N. Snebold, age 64, of Pewaukee, Wisconsin, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on December 25, 2024. She now rests in the fullness of God's presence after enduring a courageous fight with pancreatic cancer.

Dorothy loved being outdoors. She was an avid downhill skier, competing in the Badger State Games in her twenties and taking many memorable trips to the mountains of Colorado, Utah, and Montana over the years. No place was more precious to her than the family lake house in Spread Eagle, WI, where she found peace in the stillness of the woods and fostered her love for waterskiing and kayaking.

With a passion for health and wellness, Dorothy dedicated herself to helping others find relief from pain and physical challenges. After beginning her career as an occupational therapist, she most recently served as a massage therapist and personal trainer at the Lake Country Wisconsin Athletic Club (WAC). She cherished her community of friends, clients, and colleagues at the WAC, who surrounded her with tremendous generosity and support after her diagnosis.

Above all else, Dorothy was a devoted mother to her three children, Shanna, Matt, and Sarah, and grandmother to her two grandchildren, Kaylianne and Theodore. She had an unwavering belief in her children and relentlessly fought alongside them to overcome life's obstacles. Her loving warmth and calming presence will be deeply missed by them all.

Dorothy is survived by her children Shanna (Jed) Stanley-Hall, Matt (Abby) Snebold, and Sarah Snebold; her grandchildren Kaylianne and Theodore; her siblings Wade (Karen) NeitzeI, Amy (Jeff) Klemp, and Janis (Mike) Parkinson; and her mother, Susan Neitzel. She is preceded in death by her father, Albert Neitzel.

A memorial service and reception will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at First Presbyterian Church in Kingsford, Michigan at 11:00 am.

The Wisconsin Athletic Club - Lake Country (560 S Industrial Dr, Hartland, WI 53029) is also hosting an Open House in celebration of Dorothy's life on Saturday, January 18 from 1-5 pm.
