Obituary
Dorothy Ruth Schumann, age 86, a longtime resident of Wheaton, died Thursday, March 1, at home. She was born November 6, 1920 in Forest Park.
Dorothy worked for the the Wheaton Medical Clinic for many years. She liked gardening and flowers. She loved animals and usually had a pet at home. Whenever possible she enjoyed visiting family, and especially loved her granddaughter, Tara. She was a very hard working Mom who endured hardship and sacrifice to raise her three children.
She is survived by her three children, Mark of Wheaton, Carla (John) Kolo of Fond du Lac, WI, and Vicki (George) Butts of Neshkoro, WI; her granddaughter, Tara; and her sister-in-law, Marian Hansen of FLA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; her brother, Carl Hansen; and her parents, Henry and Margaret Hansen.
A visitation will be held on Monday, March 5, from 12:00 P.M. until the time of a service at 2:00 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery.
