Dorothy E. Larson, age 97, a resident of Aurora and formerly of Wheaton, died peacefully at home on Saturday, March 15 with her family by her side. She was born on July 28, 1910 in Worthington, MN to Carl and Florence Norr.

Dorothy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was an extraordinary homemaker. She was active in church throughout her lifetime and enjoyed singing with the Wheaton Park District Silvertones. She enjoyed creating embroidery pieces for her family and had a passion for reading and puzzles.

She is survived by children Marion (Daniel) Golovach, formerly Lautenbach, of Aurora, James (Maureen) Larson of Northlake, and Linda (Ronald) Henderson of Aurora, 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, four brothers, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Harry G. Larson, her parents and three sisters and two brothers.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 19 at 11:00 A.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton, with Pastor Donald Norr officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10 to 11 A.M. Private interment will take place at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst.
