Dorothy B. Hanerhoff's Obituary
Dorothy B. Hanerhoff, nee Fainter, age 97, a resident of Windsor Park in Carol Stream, and formerly a lifelong resident of Wheaton, died Saturday, December 25, 2010 at Windsor Park. She was born on January 16, 1913 to Emmet and Mary Fainter.
Dorothy graduated from Wheaton Community High School in 1930. She worked for Country Life Insurance in Chicago for 30 years. After she married Paul Hanerhoff she joined him in working at Hanerhoff Funeral Home in Wheaton. They enjoyed traveling and took trips to Europe together.
She is survived by her nieces Barbara Smith of Wheaton and Marjorie Johnson of Elgin, one nephew, James L. Fainter of Denver, CO, and two grandnieces, Nancy Johnson Roll and Julie Smith Cooke and one grandnephew,
Scott Smith.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul in 1976 and her parents, her sister Elsie and brother Leslie.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 in the chapel at Windsor Park, 120 Windsor Park Dr. (at North Ave., just west of Gary Ave.) in Carol Stream.
Memorials may be directed to Johnson Medical Center,110 Windsor Park Dr., Carol Stream, IL 60188.
Interment will be held privately at Wheaton Cemetery.
